Free reverb · by Greenlit Audio
Everfall
A reverb that never resolves. Free. TIME runs to infinite, GRAVITY swells the tail up under your hands or lets it collapse, and a tuned resonance makes it ring at a note.
On iPad? The Everfall iPad beta is open on TestFlight.
What it does
One reverb, taken all the way
- Time From a small room to a tail that does not decay at all. The top of the knob is infinite, and it is meant to be used.
- Gravity Bipolar. Turn it up and the tail swells after the note; turn it down and it collapses away. Play it live.
- Resonance A tuned body behind the damping. Set TUNE to a note and the tail rings there, whatever went in.
- Shimmer Centre is off. Either side adds a harmonic layer, low or high, that grows with the tail.
- Freeze Hold what is in the tail and keep everything new out. Pad under a dry line, or a drone from one chord.
- Pre-delay Free, or locked to your tempo at any division, so the reverb lands on the grid.
- Size, diffusion, mod The shape of the space, the smear of the early tail, and a slow modulation with its own rate.
- Eight presets Rooms, halls, tails, textures and effects to start from. Dice for a new one, undo if you liked the last.

Everfall is the deepest layer of Sylvaris's reverb, on its own. The browser demo has it running today: pick Old Growth, hold a chord, and let go. That tail is Everfall.
The plugin is the same DSP with the same knobs, so a session that starts on the free reverb already knows its way around the synth.
